Rola Chamoun is a co-founder of PsychWell, an experienced psychologist, and a passionate advocate for holistic well-being. A mother, avid traveller, cooking enthusiast, and devoted dog lover, Rola finds joy in adventures, humour, and meaningful connections with others. She shares her life with Lilly, PsychWell’s cherished therapy dog, who brings comfort, connection, and a calming presence to the practice.

With over 25 years of experience, Rola has worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families across schools, mental health settings, organisations, and private practice. Her expertise spans psychological intervention, trauma-informed therapy, behavioural and cognitive assessments, medico-legal Psychological functioning assessments, mediation, coaching, and training. She is also a Psychology Board Accredited Supervisor, supporting and mentoring other psychologists in their professional development.

Rola’s therapeutic approach is both evidence-based and deeply compassionate. She integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-focused therapy, trauma and grief therapy, family and couples therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Biofeedback, mindfulness practices, and positive psychology. With a keen interest in neuropsychology and nutrition, Rola explores their profound effects on mental health and well-being. She is passionate about helping individuals and organisations flourish and believes in the innate capacity for growth and resilience.

Rola holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science (Psychology), a Master of Arts in Developmental Psychopathology from Western Sydney University, and a Master of Science in Coaching Psychology from the University of Sydney. In addition, Rola recently completed her Clinical Psychology Master’s, a testament to her commitment to growth and learning after 25 years of dedicated work as a psychologist, and is a Clinical Psychologist Registrar.

Rola is registered with the National Psychology Board of Australia, AHPRA and SIRA and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society, the International Positive Psychology Association, and the University of Sydney Coaching & Mentoring Alumni (USCMA).
