Step 1: Reaching Out
The first step is connecting with us. We understand that starting therapy or seeking an assessment is a significant step. Our seamless and supportive process is designed to guide you from your first contact to achieving your personal mental health goals. That is why we make it a priority to connect with you over the phone before your first appointment. During this conversation, we will take the time to learn more about you, discuss your referral, and answer any questions about the process.

Step 2: Booking Your Appointment
After your initial contact, we will:
- Match You with the Right Therapist or Service: We'll consider your needs and preferences to ensure the best fit.
- Discuss Availability: If there’s a waitlist, we’ll keep you updated and notify you as soon as a spot becomes available.
- Secure Your Appointment: A payment is required to confirm your booking.
- Go over Fees and Payment Details: We will ensure fees and payment processes are clear.

Step 3: Preparing for Your First Appointment

- A consent and privacy agreement to review, sign, and return.
For GP Referrals:
If you have a referral and a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP), please email it in advance or bring it to your first session.
Step 4: Starting Therapy
What to Expect in Your First Session
- Assessment: Your psychologist will explore your challenges, history, and circumstances to gain a complete understanding of your situation.
- Goal Setting: Together, we’ll identify your goals and map out a tailored plan to achieve them.
- Initial Recommendations: Your therapist will suggest the best approaches and session frequency to suit your needs.
- Session Length: Sessions run for 50 minutes, with an additional 10 minutes for administrative tasks.
Ongoing Therapy
Therapy is a step-by-step process that supports your growth and resilience:
- Regular Sessions: Maintain momentum and consistency for meaningful progress.
- Homework & Skills: Practice tools and strategies between sessions to reinforce your growth.
- Reassessment: We’ll periodically review your progress and adjust goals as needed.
- Convenient Online Booking: Existing clients can book follow-up appointments via our Online booking system on this page

Fees & Rebates
Senior Psychologist
- Therapy Fee : $220 per session
- Medicare Rebate: $98.95 per session with a valid MHTP.
- Out-of-Pocket Cost: $121.05 per session after the rebate.
Clinical Psychologist
- Therapy Fee : $280 per session
- Medicare Rebate: $145.25 per session with a valid MHTP.
- Out-of-Pocket Cost: $134.75 per session after the rebate.
With a Mental Health Treatment Plan, you can claim:
- Up to 10 individual sessions per calendar year.
- Up to 10 group sessions per calendar year.
Private Health Insurance
NDIS Funding
If you have NDIS funding for psychological treatment and are self-managed or plan-managed, you can use this funding to cover the cost of your sessions.
To ensure a smooth process, please provide your NDIS details during the intake process. This allows us to coordinate billing directly in line with your plan.
